Ladies outnumber men by around 12 % in the age group of 30 and above. Thus, Russian ladies have fewer chances of meeting a suitable partner in the fatherland. Those who lack confidence, put up with the unacceptable behavior of their husbands, others break off the relationships. Many Russian ladies think that foreign males make better husbands, as they are more decisive, family-oriented in comparison to Russian men, as well as will pitch in with the household chores. Therefore, desperate Russian women leave the fatherland in search of stable, economically secure life overseas. In their quest for a stable and secure life, Russian ladies are even open to marriage to mature foreign men. As for foreign men, the rapidly increasing divorce rate and a considerable decline in family values have made many foreigners turn to Russian ladies for emotional comfort. |
